Pulling Off a Million Dollar Virtual Event – Webinar


Webcast & Beyond provided Remote Live Streaming services for Campbell Hall, a private school in the Los Angeles area who virtualized their traditional gala into a livestream celebration of the school community. They smashed their event goal by raising over $1 million – becoming one of the first few nonprofits (and the first independent school) in the US to hit that mark during the pandemic. This was a collaborative effort with Ariel Glassman (the fundraising consultant), Gabriel Butu (the auctioneer) and the school’s Advancement Department and our live streaming team at Webcast & Beyond.

This webinar, hosted and produced by Ariel Glassman, takes the viewer on a guided tour of the CH CARES event and Campbell Hall’s transition to a virtual format. Topics include: tools and technology for streaming and fundraising; audience development and the event’s revenue model for the event; how we built momentum with our communications plan; and the construction of a compelling live-streamed program.
