Live Streaming System Features

    One Person Operation

Our design approach is to simplify operating procedures such that one person with moderate technical skills can operate the entire system. Hence, our multi-camera systems utilize remote controlled PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras for maximum efficiency.

   Easy Customization

Each system is expandable with audio and/or video add-on accessories to meet your specific requirements.

   Stream Anywhere

Stream to most destinations including: Facebook, Youtube, Twitch, Vimeo, your website, and most private streaming platforms.

    Advanced Broadcast Capabilities

Advanced systems are capable of:

  • 100+ built-in animated titles, scoreboards and tickers
  • Presentation Capture – PowerPoint, Keynote, ProPresenter and more
  • View presenter and slides in Side-by-Side or Picture-in-Picture mode

What Solution Is Best for Me?

We will assume that you are not a media professional, but rather a forward-thinking individual with moderate technical skills wanting to produce live video broadcasts for your organization. With that in mind we have designed several live streaming systems that take the headache out of the decision making process.  In addition, you can customize with add-on components to better suit your individual requirements. All you need is a place, a decent internet connection, and your imagination to begin streaming to the world!

The links below will explain the four suggested systems in terms of capabilities and budget

System 1: One Camera Basic

Features:

This starter system is simple but rock-solid in performance, quality, reliability, and ease of use.  The Canon XA40 professional camcorder has excellent picture quality, even in low light conditions. With a 20x optical zoom and UHD 4K capture resolution your video will look vibrant and crystal clear. The streaming engine is provided by the Magewell Ultra Stream Encoder which provides one-touch streaming and recording functions. The encoder streams up to 1080p to one destination at a time. The  4-input Mackie mixer accepts up to 4 audio sources, two of them being microphones.

Expansion Options:

  • Audio: Add another mic, computer sound, or tie-in from the house PA
  • Video: None

Typical Use Cases:

Announcements, Interviews, Press Conferences, Talking Head, Podcast

System 2: PTZ CAM vMix Presenter

Features:

This system is built around the PTZoptics series robotic camera. It comes with a joystick controller allowing for the operator to be in a completely different room from the camera itself. PTZ cameras are powerful and effective devices that allow for one operator to control multiple cameras during an event.  Shots (which includes the pan, tilt, zoom, and focus settings) can be memorized and recalled with the touch of a button.

The streaming engine is provided by vMix software running on a powerful gaming laptop. Software based systems can be a little trickier to operate than a hardware only solution but they offer unparallelled advanced features. All of the system functions are centralized including video switching, titles, transitions, graphics, recording and streaming to multiple destinations. Configuration changes are much easier to handle using a software interface as opposed to punching in characters on a hardware device.

This system is perfect for any situation where there is a presenter with PowerPoint or Keynote slides. vMix comes with a free utility that installs on the presenter’s laptop and sends the output over the local network to the vMix computer. From there vMix allows the presentation to be full screen or side-by-side with the presenter’s video.

The included 4-input Mackie mixer accepts up to 4 audio sources, two of them being microphones.

Expansion Options:

  • Audio: Add another mic, computer sound, or tie-in from the house PA
  • Video: Add another camera or video device

Typical Use Cases:

Seminars, Presentations, Meetings, Training, Churches, Corporate Events, Talk Shows, Education, Government Functions

System 3: PTZ CAM-2X Switcher

Features:

This multi-camera system is hardware based and uses a traditional video switcher to manage all of the video sources. For some, having hardware, push-button control is a better fit, especially when many different operators need to be trained (such as a church environment with volunteer workers at the controls).  This package includes two PTZoptics series robotic cameras with the option to add two more. It comes with a joystick controller allowing for one-person remote operation.

The streaming engine is provided by the AJA Helo H.264 Streamer/Recorder. This high-end unit provides extremely high quality streams and recordings.

The included 4-input Mackie mixer accepts up to 4 audio sources, two of them being microphones.

Expansion Options:

  • Audio: Add another mic, computer sound, or tie-in from the house PA
  • Video: Add up to four video devices.

Typical Use Cases:

Seminars, Presentations, Meetings, Training, Churches, Corporate Events, Talk Shows, Education, Government Functions

System 4 PTZ CAM-2X vMix

Features:

This system is built around two PTZoptics NDI series robotic cameras with options to add more. The NDI series is the most advanced of the PTZoptics family featuring network-based video. This new technology has many advantages especially during installation. The camera power, control, and video output are condensed from three cables down to one ethernet cable. In addition to software control of the cameras, it comes with a joystick controller for easy intuitive camera movement.

The streaming engine is provided by an advanced version of vMix 4K software running on a super-charged gaming laptop.  All of the system functions are centralized including video switching, titles, transitions, graphics, recording and streaming to multiple destinations.

  • Video: Add up to 5 video inputs; 4 of them being NDI cameras

Typical Use Cases:

Medium Scale Production, Sports, Conferences, Seminars, Live Performances, Live Shows, Churches, Corporate Events, Government Functions, Marketing Events
